In what can only be described as an epic food win, we’ve teamed up with El Chingon to bring their delicious tacos to Goodness on the Meadowlark’s patio on a regular basis. Now you can get some tacos to join your agua frescas con Svedka and do things proper.
El Chingon isn’t just any old taco joint either, they’re a great family run spot, co-founded by longtime friend of The Solution and Radio Bum DJ Psycho aka chef David Lopez. Everybody I know who’s been has left raving and Yelp seems to think they’re pretty great too. A few months back, 5280 Magazine published the list of the best bars in Denver and included The Meadowlark in their top spots for music. That wasn’t enough though, they published a picture of DJ Dozen from The Solution Showcase #1 along with the article to make it that much sweeter. I agree with them, the Meadowlark has been one of the best venues I’ve worked with! Catch The Solution Showcase once a month and Goodness on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays every Sunday afternoon, all Summer long at this fine, award-winning establishment. 1ST & 3RD SATURDAYS from 3-9PM Now every SUNDAY from 2-9PM -> It’s been a long time coming and after anxiously waiting through a tease of a mild Winter, things are finally consistently warm and it’s time to announce a new daytime party on the Meadowlark’s incredibly dope patio, it goes by the name of Goodness. Me and the Meadowlark crafted this party piece by piece and made sure every little details of the party was packed with goodness, from the drinks to music to the special events. Twice a month throughout the Summer, I’ll be joined by special guest DJs and other friends of mine from food trucks to clothing stores/companies to all other sorts of performers.
All Summer long, me and some of the best DJs in Denver (starting with DJ Amen & KDJ Above on 6/2) will be playing everything we think is good under the sun. The music is just the tip of the iceberg though, we’ve got food (by grill and/or food truck) plus a perfect lineup of drinks for summer:

SATURDAY, 5/19 from 5-10pm -> The Justice League of Street Food kicks off their season by combining ten of Denver’s finest roaming eateries with myself on the turntables plus performances Turner Jackson, 1984 (Big J Beats & Marky Bias) and Bianca Mikahn and drinks from Republic Tequila and Avery Brewing for what promises to be a great party. The food truck lineup for the night is Steuben’s, Biker Jim’s, Fat Sully’s, Pinche Tacos, Denver Cupcake Truck, Stick it To Me, the Biscuit Bus., Quiero Arepas and special guests Manna from Heaven and Mestizos. I can’t wait to try some of the trucks that I’ve missed, the variety’s gonna be awesome. FRIDAY, 5/18 -> The legendary party Denver party So What! (almost 20 years deep in scene) is celebrating their one year anniversary at the Beauty Bar (608 East 13th Avenue) and they invited me and DJ Chonz to come rock alongside the So What! Crew; K-Nee, Peter Black & DJ Big Styles and door diva, Ms. Deirdre. The party is known for cool, progressive music, so expect to hear everything from nu groove to jazzy hip hop to house to world flavor.
