A few days ago, the homeys Blu & Exile flew out to Barcelona to lecture at the Red Bull Music Academy. They broke down everything from how they linked up to playing the MPC to their philosophies on collaborating with so many other artists and more in a 75 minute long session. For those of us not to be so lucky as to be attending the Academy, you can check out the video over at the Red Bull Music Academy web site. Ex playing the MPC live (watch what he does with the Herbie Hancock joint around 25 minutes in) and the talk of Below the Heavens live with a band in 2009 alone is worth checking it out.  And, uh, check out that Blu & Exile “Blu Collar Workers” video that I co-executive produced (big up Eric Maitrepierre) & cameod in earlier this year, it’s got a co-sign from Kanye and almost 60,000 views on youtube.
