SUNDAY, 9/11 -> Median is one of my favorite MCs to debut in the last decade, a classic combination of a unique style, great content and a dope voice; and he’ll be touching down at Connected, alongside me and J Carey, to celebrate the release of his new album, The Sender.

As part of NC-based collective, the Justus League, Median was introduced to most listeners with show-stealing verses on new school classics like Little Brother’s The Listening (“Shorty On The Lookout”) and The Foreign Exchange’s Connected (“All That You Are” & “Be Alright”) before me and him linked up with 9th Wonder for the Median’s Relief In The Making mixtape and he dropped his long-awaited debut, Relief, in 2007.  He laid low for the last few years, minus impressive guest spots on projects from Little Brother, Kooley High & Jean Grae, before joining forces with The Foreign Exchange Music and 9th Wonder’s JAMLA label to release his new album and one of my favorite projects of the year, The Sender (available on Amazon, iTunes & other outlets now).
