Sunday, 11/8 -> Dunn the Signtologist Closing at Hapa Life w/DJ Low Key

SUNDAY, 11/8 -> Whatever you do, make sure you go see the Dunn the Signtologist art show at Hapa before it ends on 11/14, most preferably on Sunday night after 8:30 for happy hour specials and music by me.  I’ll be playing all sort of dope soul, R&B and hip hop and there’s a ton of great happy hour specials; 2 for $7 rolls, $3.50 sake specials, 10% for service industry & more.  All that is great, but the real star of the show is Dunn’s art.  Dude went all out and created a bunch of custom pieces including a 4-piece Karate Kid set, Shonuff from the Last Dragon, an amazing Bruce Lee piece and that’s not even the half.  I’ve been watching people gawk at how fresh they are every time I’ve DJed over the last few weeks and the show is definitely something you need to see before it’s too late.  2nd & Detroit in Cherry Creek / Music at 8:30 / All Ages.

.:Jermiside & DJ Low Key – Die Jerm Die:.

It’s been a minute since Jermiside (of Red Giants/Lessondary fame) first hit me up to help him out with his Die Jerm Die mixtape…I’d known dude for a while via Tanya Morgan (he was on a song on Moonlighting & two on Brooklynati), featured him on my Mixing In Action #2 tape back in ’06 and we’d kicked it for a minute on the Hiero tour so it was a no-brainer to get involved…Jerm’s concept for the tape was a lot darker than most stuff I work on (the title says it all…LOL), but it was appropriate for the times and the music was really dope so I put it all together in a way that hopefully tells a story and wraps up on a positive note, check out the tape for yourself and see what you think…
