Come check out a unique weekly night with fresh music, fresh concepts and more. But first stop by First Fridays at The 400 from 7-10 for an exhibition by Change The Thought aka Chris Cox with framed art prints, new clothing and complimentary food and drinks. The Milk Bar is located at 1037 Broadway in the lower level of the Shelter. Its design is inspired by the bar in the movie “A Clockwork Orange”, and features an unbelievable Yorkville sound system that is second to none amongst venues of its size in Colorado. But don’t take my word for it, come check things out on a Friday and see for yourself.

This Saturday January 20th, New Balance and the 400 present the launch of Super Team 33. Super Team 33 is the name of the elite group of New Balance Associates chosen to build the company’s highest end lifestyle collection. Hence, the collection itself carries the same name. New Balance has a long, proud tradition of building high quality shoes in the US, and this collection celebrates that heritage with an amazing set of 3 different M1400 inspired by fish. Come check out the release party this Saturday, January 20th from 7-10 PM. Music by DJ Low Key, DJ Sounds Supreme & DJ Amen. There’s gonna be some ridiculous free food, beer and other giveaways too.

Come celebrate the return of Jay-Z with a thorough retrospective of his career on Wednesday the 22nd. I’ll be playing Jigga’s classics, remixes, guest spots, original samples, unreleased songs and more all night long next Wednesday at Bar Luxe. Come through and hear everything from alternate versions of classics like “Can’t Knock The Hustle”, “Feelin It” and “Dead Presidents” with different lyrics to remixes like the “A Million And One Questions” (DJ Premier Remix), 9th Wonder’s Black Album remixes and the Timbo remix of “Hey Papi” to unreleased songs from The Blueprint, The Black Album and more. Plus, we’ll be screening Jay-Z videos, Fade To Black, Streets Is Watching & more all night.
