So there’s a dope new service called Kyte that lets you stream video from a phone into an online video player (and it’s embeddable on your blog/site/myspace page/etc, even though I can’t seem to get it to work on mine, click the image to check it out though) and Tanya Morgan & Pacific Division are the first acts I’ve seen using it. Stay tuned to TM’s Kyte player for all sorts of craziness on tour w/Hiero (coming to a town near you, check out the dates), live show footage & some DJ Low Key guest spots and don’t miss Pac Div’s player with some crazy clips as well (last week they had Ice-T breaking down his issues with Soulja Boy backstage at a show).

SATURDAY, July 5th -> Family Affair & DJ Low Key will be joining forces for the second installment of the Warm Up, a unique event combining Family Affairâ€™s boutique clothing selection with itâ€™s salon services and my music to get Denver â€œwarmed upâ€ for going out on Saturdays from 7-10. The Warm Up is a one stop shop for the scene to get their hair done, get fresh new clothes to wear out and pre-party at the same time, all within walking distance of all the spots downtown. Thank you Denver. No really, THANK YOU DENVER. Last Friday night was INSANE as me & Sounds Supreme brought the Solution back to Fridays on the Funky Buddha’s rooftop for a triumphant return. The spot was packed, the vibe was perfect (Kidz in the Hall had us throw a Paid Dues afterparty for them and weren’t even planning on performing, but they loved the spot so much they rocked 5 songs plus Double-O hopped on the tables for a 30 minute set) and of course, the music, heads and lovely ladies that make the Solution the best hip hop night in Denver were all in full effect for a CLASSIC night. Thanks again CO, we love you.

Special shouts to our boys at Akomplice for helping make the party happen, as well our fellow Akomplice team members Naledge & Double-O for rocking a free show for the heads, our boys over at Speakeasy (congrats on becoming a father Beans), Frank151, Strictly Fitteds, Rachel Crick on the awesome pics, Ant from Family Affair and everyone who made it out.

Starting on FRIDAY, 6/13 -> By popular demand, THE SOLUTION w/DJ LOW KEY & SOUNDS SUPREME returns to FRIDAYS on the Funky Buddha’s Rooftop. Yep, we’re moving the BEST HIP HOP NIGHT IN DENVER (c) Westword back to Fridays and getting back into go mode (c) Jigga after spending the last 6 months months rockin the spot at Refresh. We had a great time and played alongside some of hip hop’s finest at Vinyl from December up until last week, but now that it’s summertime there’s no place we’d rather be than on the Funky Buddha’s beautiful rooftop deck (the vibe we had last fall on Friday at the Solution was FLAWLESS and we gotta get back to that). Plus, there’s never a cover, we’re kicking things off with $3 Premium Drafts (Sapporo, Guinness, Stella, Hoegaarden & more) all night and we’re gonna have some giveaways from our weekly sponsors Frank151, Speakeasy, mine & Sounds’ sponsor Akomplice, free mixtapes & more, you gotta love it. The words of the homey Sounds Supreme -> Starting June 4th and Every Wed. Night @ Sutra (10th and Lincoln) DJ Amen & myself will be throwing a weekly that Denver has never seen. Playing a eclectic mix of Baile Funk, Electro, Hip Hop, BMORE and really whatever we deem as fresh. High Score is taking it back to the Original Nintendo era where all you had to worry about was finding that one house party to shake you ass and drink 40’s at. With a FREE Keg on the dance floor every night and ridiculous drink special from ABSOLUTE Vodka this is exactly what we will accomplish.
