In case you didn’t already know, I’m a member of a super dope DJ crew called the Radio Bums<\/a> (big up Chonz<\/a>, Bedz<\/a>, Petey<\/a>, Styles & Fashion<\/a>, Psycho<\/a>, Vajra<\/a>, Rectangle<\/a>, Maseo<\/a>, Amen<\/a>, my partner at the Solution, Sounds Supreme<\/a>, and that’s just part of the crew) that spans from Colorado to LA and beyond. I mention the crew because a talented up & coming (lol) singer by the name of Erykah Badu<\/a> was thoughtful enough to recently thank us (alongside some of hip hop’s finest DJs & crews) on the back of her BEAUTIFUL (they rarely make records that are this nice these days with the sick ass art, colored vinyl, b-side, dope remixes and so on) double 12″ single for “The Healer” from her latest album, New Amerykah. Thanks Miss Badu, you sure do know the way to a DJ’s heart.<\/p>\n
