Pretty simple situation. Two days ago, I got word that ‘Round Midnight, the home of The Solution Boulder, was in the process of being sold to new ownership and because of that they were going to be closed indefinitely. I was always a fan of Chuck, Pinks, Aaron & the rest of the ‘Round midnight crew and hate to see them end their run in Boulder, but I also know sometimes you gotta sell, especially when you’re sitting on prime real estate like they are on Pearl St. I don’t know if/when they’ll be reopening or if we’ll continue throwing The Solution Boulder there or anywhere else in Boulder at the moment.

Right now, my focus is on the monthly Solution Showcase and the smash hit of the Summer, Goodness (going til October), down in Denver, as well as a variety of other projects (some of which will be taking place in Boulder), so I’m going to take a break in regards to The Solution Boulder. So don’t worry hip hop heads, me, DJ Dozen, B-Money, Sounds Supreme & crew will continue to bring CO all the best in hip hop & more on a regular basis, so stay tuned to djlowkey.com, denversolution.com & my twitter page for more upcoming events.

P.S. We didn’t feel in was right to say goodbye without a parting gift Boulder. I have a pair of free tickets to tonight’s Theophilus London show at the Fox Theatre for the first three people to send me an e-mail titled “Theo On Thursday” at Contests <at> djlowkey {dot} com. Winners will be announced/contacts by 7pm.
